Andrew founded BrandProject in 2013 with the mission to help founders succeed in building world-class digital consumer brands. At BrandProject, Andrew provides hands-on guidance in key areas including business strategy, leadership and team development, consumer proposition, finance, board matters, and fundraising strategy.
Andrew has strong experience as a consumer business builder, people leader, entrepreneur, operator, and investor. In 2004, he followed his passion for starting disruptive new businesses and founded Virgin Mobile Canada with Sir Richard Branson. He and his team grew the Virgin business to over 1 million customers and $500M in revenues within five years, while winning the JD Power Award for customer service every year. Virgin Mobile was acquired by Bell Canada in 2009. Prior to Virgin, Andrew was President at LEGO Americas, US GM at Nike, helping launch Nike’s US Equipment Business, and earlier was VP Marketing-North America at Dr Pepper 7UP.
Andrew is a graduate of Queen’s University with a B.A. in Economics. He is a former board member of Virgin Unite and is an active member of YPO. Outside of work, Andrew can be found sailing, at a Blue Jays game, or planning his next adventure with his wife and four daughters.
