Colin joined BrandProject in January 2019 as an Associate, Strategy & Operations.
Before joining BrandProject, Colin was the co-founder and CEO of Iris Technologies, a medical technology company focused on improving the lives of brain injury and concussion patients. Colin co-founded the company at age 19 at Queen’s University and ran the business for 3.5 years. During his 3rd and 4th year at university, he managed a team of engineers and researchers that built the product and completed a successful (and published) clinical trial at the Toronto Western Hospital. Colin ran the business full time through a successful seed round, granted US patent, and the launch of the Iris Monitor- selling the product to customers such as IBM, Yale University, and the Royal Bank of Canada. Iris Technologies was acquired by Accelera Medtech Canada.
Colin graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and was also a part of several entrepreneurship programs including: QIC, Next Canada, and the Biomedical Zone (DMZ). Colin is also an Innovation Fellow of Queen’s University. He works out of the Toronto office.
