Chris Martone

Chris Martone is a Vice President at BrandProject, based in Toronto, where he plays a central role in sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities and partnering closely with founders to build high-performing businesses. He works hands-on across strategic finance & analytics, capital planning, marketing, growth, and operations to help scale portfolio companies. Chris has worked closely with brands such as Everself and currently serves as a Board Member of Great Many and a Board Observer of Juno Vet.

Since joining BrandProject in 2021, Chris has brought over a decade of experience across private investing and corporate finance. Prior to BrandProject, he was a member of the investment team at Clairvest, a leading Canadian private equity firm with more than $4.5 billion in assets under management and began his career in investment banking at Credit Suisse. He holds an HBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University.

Chris has a deep passion for consumer brands and emerging trends, with a particular obsession for all things health and wellness. Outside of BrandProject, he leads an active lifestyle having completed marathons, half ironmans, and hyroxraces, and is constantly seeking out his next adventure.
